HUGH JACKMAN IS LOOKING RIPPED IN THE FIRST OFFICIAL PHOTO FROM ‘THE WOLVERINE’

Moar like, Hugh Jacked-man, amirite???
*ahem* Anyway, I just came across this first official still of Hugh Jackman in The Wolverine on the X-Men Movies Facebook fan page. Jackman looks more ripped here than I’ve ever seen him before, which tells me that director James Mangold decided to do a complete 180 from Aronofksy’s vision of Wolverine.
Back in 2010, when Aronofsky was on the project, he wanted a bulkier, broad-shouldered Wolverine, so he put Jackman on an insane 5,000 calorie-a-day diet and an intense power lifting regimen. But, it looks as if Mangold wanted Jackman lean, cut, and sexy to retain the female contingent. Still, I like the lighting scheme here, and the Japanese temple setting. The Wolverine is in theaters July 26, 2013.
