I still haven’t gotten around to watching the animated Dark Knight Returns: Part I, which came out on the the same day as The Avengers Blu-ray. I’ve heard mostly positive things, but Peter Weller’s voice still bugs me and I can’t see how any of Frank Miller’s subversiveness made it through to the finished product. Today Warners released the trailer for Part II, which features the brutal final showdown with the Joker, and the Dark Knight’s epic battle with Superman. Check it out:
