A Storm of Swords is the best book in the Song of Ice & Fire saga by the sensationalist, sadistic, and some would even say misogynistic fantasy author George R.R. Martin. Many of the events in this third part of the epic tale led directly to fans throwing the book across the room in disgust, and now those events will be depicted in full HD by Peter Dinklage, Lena Heady, and the other fine actors on HBO’s live-action adaptation Game of Thrones this season.

Seriously, if you are just a fan of the TV show, prepare for unimaginable emotional scarring and butthurt the likes of which have never been seen. TV message boards across the Internet will be awash in the tears of the broken-hearted, and ablaze with anger and fury…it’ll be like the battle of Blackwater Bay all over again…

About Author

Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
