LEAGUECAST #83 – San Diego Comic-Con 2015 Wrap-Up

EXTRA-SIZED SDCC 2015 EXTRAVAGANZA! Jeff, Shawn, and Adam welcome special guests Tom Racine of Tall Tale Radio and Lucas Turnbloom of Imagine This to discuss their experiences at the world’s largest and most exciting entertainment/geek culture event of the year. Lucas discusses the launch of his graphic novel collaboration with Heroes and LOST star Greg Grunberg, Dream Jumper, while Tom discusses his experiences moderating various panels.

Almost everything about what it’s like to actually attend the convention is covered, from the impact on the community, to celebrity encounters, to navigating the massive crowds, and even the smells emanating from the convention center! The gang also engages in a conversation about all the footage screened and announcements made at the massive movie and TV panels from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad, Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, Ash Vs. Evil Dead, and more! All this, plus Lucas’ encounter with Joss Whedon!

Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
