This week, the League welcomes back director Marty Langford to discuss the completion of his superhero documentary Doomed: The Untold Story Of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four, which chronicles the development and making of the 1994 low-budget film adaptation of the long-running Marvel Comics property. (CLICK HERE for Marty’s first appearance.) The documentary will screen at the Boston Comic-Con on Saturday, August 1st, and be sure to visit the documentary’s official website to pre-order the DVD or Blu-Ray, and learn more about the movie!

Marty also chimes in with Jeff, Adam, and Shawn on the latest geek movie and TV news this week, which includes C-Tates possibly dropping out of the Gambit movie, Chris Pine signing on to the solo Wonder Woman flick, and Hugh Jackman soliciting ideas from fans for his last Wolverine film. All that, plus more Police Academy references and geek recommendations!

About Author

Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
