LEAGUECAST NYCC 2016 Bonus Interview – VOLTRON: LEGENDARY DEFENDER Cast & Crew

0

It’s another awesome bonus edition of The LeagueCast from this year’s New York Comic-Con! This time, Jeff sits in on the round table interviews with the cast and crew of the colorful, action-packed, hilarious Netflix animated reboot series Voltron: Legendary Defender! First up, you’ll hear (very) briefly from two of the voice actors – Jeremy Shada (Lance/Blue Lion), and Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge/Green Lion). Then, head writer Tim Hendrick shares some insight into the creative process and season two of the show. Finally, executive producers Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery also talk season two and answer some interesting and fun questions about the possibility of rebooting Vehicle Voltron and whether or not they considered re-doing the classic Voltron theme music.

As always, you can listen to the LeagueCast right here in your browser, download the MP3 file, or check out the show and subscribe to the podcast in the iTunes store or on Stitcher Smart Radio. Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
