Throw on your orange puffy vest and Nikes, fire up the flux capacitor in the DeLorean, set the time circuits, and travel to the golden geek days of yesteryear on the League’s new series, BACK IN TIME! In this second installment, Jeff, Shawn, and Adam reminisce about the movies, video games, TV shows, comic books, cartoons, and monumental shifts in pop culture from the year 1992! Everything from the extreeeeeme amounts of blades, pouches, cybernetic limbs, spikes, and blood featured in the Image Comics launch titles, to crushing the neighborhood kids with a well-timed Shoryuken in Street Fighter II, to mourning the death of Superman, to rushing home from school to catch the latest episodes of Batman: The Animated Series or X-Men, to the utter weirdness of Christopher Walken in Batman Returns is debated and discussed in this fun jaunt back to the ’90s!

All this, plus the usual weekly movie/TV/book/game recommendations, and the usual banter and tangents in the mighty league manner!

Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
