0

This week on the LeagueCast, Adam’s away, so The Shmozz regales us with tales from his Alien: Covenant screening and delivers his verdict on whether or not you should see the latest scifi creature fest from director Ridley Scott. In addition, the League shares their thoughts on the horrific tragedy that led to Zack Snyder departing the Justice League film, leaving it in the hands of Joss Whedon. The boys also express their confusion and displeasure over Sony’s planned Venom spinoff film with Tom Hardy as Venom, under the direction of Zombieland helmer Reuben Fleisher. All this, plus headlines with Shawn, LOST finale memories, some significant deaths in the geek community, and the usual banter and tangents in the mighty League manner!

As always, you can listen to the LeagueCast right here in your browser, download the MP3 file, or check out the show and subscribe to the podcast in the iTunes store or on Stitcher Smart Radio. Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
