LEAGUECAST #184 – “I’ve Got A Bad Feeling About This…”

It’s an absolute, Armageddon-level newspocalypse this week on the LeagueCast, as the gang is overwhelmed by a tsunami of breaking DC, Marvel, and Star Wars stories. Join Jeff, Shawn, The Shmozz, and returning host Adam as they react to the massive bombshell hitting the Star Wars: Han Solo production in the form of directors Lord & Miller getting canned from the flick with only a couple of week of production left! The League also addresses Joss Whedon’s new, high-profile status in the DCEU, and his decision to replace Justice League composer Junke XL with Danny Elfman. In addition, the gang offers some insight into the new “Sad Kevin Feige” meme storming the internet in the wake of producer Amy Pascal’s comments regarding Sony’s planned Venom and Silver Sable/Black Cat movies taking place in the same world as Spider-Man: Homecoming. All that, plus headlines with Shawn, weekly geek media recommendations, and the usual banter and tangents in the mighty League manner!

As always, you can listen to the LeagueCast right here in your browser, download the MP3 file, or check out the show and subscribe to the podcast in the iTunes store or on Stitcher Smart Radio. About Author

Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
