This week on the Leaguecast, the gang sets their sights on the devastating tsunami of bad press and negative fan reaction to Marvel Television’s upcoming Inhumans series! Everything from Jeph Loeb and the cast’s crabby, awkward responses to perfectly reasonable questions from reporters at the TV Critics Association press panel, to the poor response to the series’ trailer by the fans at SDCC as well as the director himself, is discussed and debated. In addition, the League reacts to the huge Disney announcement that they are breaking off from Netflix to launch their own exclusive streaming service in 2019, and what that could mean for Star Wars and Marvel content in the future. All this, plus the return of Shawn the Content Administrator to headlines and Shmozz’s debut running the box office report!

As always, you can listen to the LeagueCast right here in your browser, download the MP3 file, or check out the show and subscribe to the podcast in the iTunes store or on Stitcher Smart Radio. Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.
