About Author

Jeff Carter

Jeff is the defining voice of his generation. Sadly, that generation exists only in an alternate dimension where George Lucas became supreme overlord of the Earth in 1979 and replaced every television broadcast and theatrical film on the planet with Star Wars and Godzilla movies. In this dimension, he’s just a guy from New England who likes writing snarky things about superheroes, monsters, and robots.

I am so sorry to hear you are stopping the podcasts. I have been listening to you guys for years now and you are by far, my favourite sci-fi and fantasy podcast, period. I do hope that you will all find things that will make you happy and maybe, knowing that you helped me through some dark times in my life with your podcasts, will make your goodbye less sad.

    • Dirk, thank you so much for the kind words, and for your support over the years! Seeing this really warmed my heart. I’m so glad you enjoyed our podcasts; it was a joy and a privilege to be able to talk about the nerdy stuff I love with my brother and my friends over the course of these five years, and it makes me feel like all of it was worthwhile to hear it helped you through tough times. Thanks, and remember, live fast, fight hard, and die with your mask on!

Thank you, Jeff. I just listened to the final episode and while I truly understand your reasons, I will still miss your insights, your discussions and most of all, this merry band of fellow people with a shared interest. You guys made the world of geekdom brighter and I wish you good luck in your new endeavours. Also, Han Solo as a solo movie (see what I did there?) will suck. It was also nice to be mentioned 😉 Thank you for that also.
